Drive to Nalemoru Gate to Simba Camp
Day 1: Moshi to Nalemoru Gate – Trek to Simba Camp

Drive from Moshi around the eastern foot of Kilimanjaro to Nalemoru Gate. Register with park authorities and begin trekking through pine forests and light woodland. The trail climbs gently to Simba Camp, located on the border of the heather moorland zone with views across the Kenyan plains.
